MUSIC AT PARKVIEW
Music is a cornerstone of the worship experience at Parkview. Our members often highlight the music program as one of the most cherished aspects of our community. Our music spans multiple genres and generations, using traditional hymns, contemporary, folk, and popular music to inspire your faith.
SANCTUARY CHOIRThe Sanctuary Choir, our 25-member, non-auditioned group, welcomes anyone from high school age and up. Our repertoire spans traditional sacred choral works, including pieces from Handel and traditional African American Spirituals. We rehearse on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:15 pm, from September through May. The choir performs on the first three Sundays of each month, and on the fourth Sunday, we feature soloists, small ensembles, and guest artists.

SUMMER MUSIC SERIES
During the summer, each Sunday we showcase the talents of musicians from both our congregation and the wider community. We’ve featured cellists, vocal ensembles, brass bands, plus so much more!
SPECIAL CONCERTS
In addition to our regular Sunday performances, the Sanctuary Choir presents two special concerts each year. The Parkview Christmas Concert is held on a Sunday during Advent, and features approximately eight anthems, bringing the Christmas spirit to life. Each spring, Parkview presents its popular “Top Ten” concert, where the choir performs its top ten anthems of the year.
Parkview periodically hosts guest concerts, featuring choirs from the Twin Cities metro area. If your performance group is looking for a venue, visit our Facilities Rental page. |
